Terms of Service

• You must be at least 13 years old to use ExpiresOS.
• Provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account — keep your credentials private and enable MFA (it’s mandatory).

ExpiresOS is multi-tenant. The first member of an organization becomes its owner; owners and admins can invite and remove members and control plan / billing settings. The organization, not an individual user, is the customer of record for paid plans.

• Subscriptions are charged in advance and auto-renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from settings; access continues through the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• We may change pricing on at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
• Refunds are discretionary except where the law requires otherwise. For billing questions write to billing@expiresos.com.

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal content or content you don’t have the right to upload.
• Use the service to harass, defraud, or harm others.
• Bypass or probe access controls, rate limits, or security mechanisms.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or build a competing product from the service.
• Send unsolicited messages through the service’s email or SMS features.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create — records, notes, and documents. You grant ExpiresOS a limited licence to host, store, and process that content solely to provide the service (including running reminders, performing AI extraction on documents you upload, and creating backups).

The ExpiresOS name, wordmark, and the design and code of the product are our property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond using the service as a customer.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add, or remove features over time; we will announce material removals in advance.

ExpiresOS is a tool that helps you track deadlines. We are not a law firm or licensed compliance advisor. Using ExpiresOS does not guarantee compliance with any specific law, regulation, or insurance requirement. You remain responsible for your obligations.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or for activity that threatens the service or other customers. On termination you may export your data during a 30-day grace period, after which it is permanently deleted.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, ExpiresOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data. Our total liability under these Terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, fraud).

You will indemnify ExpiresOS against third-party claims arising from content you uploaded, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights for users residing in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions that provide such rights.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email and an in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
